1. don't believe rumors about the stardoll staff and such, they might get you scared. but they are not true.
2. don't ask for anyone's password. don't hack anyone. don't try to hack anyone. then if they get mad they might try to hack you back.
3. don't give out your password. not for makeovers, cheats, or anything. because how much you might think you can trust them, you might not. instead have a friend or family member visit and help you make your doll or dress it up.
4. don't accept blank friend requests. here's why people don't like blank requests or ones that just say "hi" "add me" or "give me a gift". word on the street is, some people hack thru friend requests. so if they really want to be your friend, not have your account, they would probably write a more meaningful message.
5. have an easy to remember [for you] hard to figure out password. not something easy or short. have numbers, signs, etc, but dont just write something easy, like the same as your username or like "stardoll" you could do those but add symbols and numbers and stuff. but remember, it has to be easy for you to remember!
6. hide your rarest items in locked up rooms or storage. that way they cant be stolen.
7. if someone seems unsafe, DO NOT accept their request, send them messages or gifts, write in their guestbook or visit their page.
8. have backup accounts. so you wont have to totally quit stardoll if your account does get hacked.
9. make friends. have them try to help you. :)
10. if you feel like somethings unsafe but something good could come out of it, dont do it. it might make something bad. listen to your consience. >:0
